Happy Monday everyone! Originally this was going to be a “Monthly Favorites” post, I got the idea about two months ago and I wanted this to be a monthly thing. But recently (by this I mean today), I decided to be honest with myself considering my schedule and realized that a “Monthly Favorites” can be kind of impossible for me. So, I’ll be doing “Current Favorites” every once in awhile, whenever I have 4-5 things to write about.
At the beginning of the year, I set myself up to the challenge of living more eco-friendly, creating very little waste, and purchasing more vegan & cruelty-free products. I did some research and a lot of companies and products showed up; so I decided to start with the ones that I’ve been dying to try for a while. Here are a combination of lifestyle items and beauty products that I loved using during March, and will definitely keep using.
Dental Health
Bamboo Toothbrush
I’ve been wanting a bamboo toothbrush for a really long time, but for some reason, I never got around to it and I regret not purchasing one sooner. Honestly, they’re life changing! The brushes are made by The Green Root and are 100% biodegradable with BONUS super soft charcoal bristles. They come in packs of four, which means that they are perfect for sharing and getting others in the sustainable lifestyle bandwagon.
Charcoal Toothpaste
Following the challenge that I put for myself, I wanted to start changing to more vegan and environmentally friendly products. Toothpaste seemed like a good place to start since it’s something that it’s used every day, twice or more times a day. I discovered Hello Toothpaste, free of artificial sweeteners, dyes, and sulfates, with charcoal! It might seem that I’m a little bit obsessed with anything charcoal, and that is completely true. It’s a great way to whiten teeth naturally, one that actually works!
Tongue Cleaner
After brushing, I started using a tongue cleaner from WOWE, which seriously leaves my mouth feeling super clean. I made sure to purchase mine with no plastic, and completely stainless steel, to make sure that it’s eco-friendly. I you haven’t gotten one of these, what are you waiting for?
Beauty
There are two beauty brands that I started using during March and I completely fell in love with Lattuga & Muddy Body. Both of these companies are completely vegan and don’t use any chemicals on their products, which made me love them even more!
Lattuga Body Scrub
COFFEE! I absolutely love coffee, not only for drinking but also for the benefits it has on the skin. Lattuga Organics is a local company that makes coffee body scrubs infused with different scents (cinnamon, papaya & orange, mint & limoncello). I got to try the Cinnamon “CAFEXFOLIANTE” and it left my skin super smooth! It gave me a relaxing sensation, while also waking me up. Perfect for a morning shower!
Muddy Body Clay Mask
One thing that I’ve always been super keen about is Skin Care. I’m super careful with the products that I use for my face because I have no time to deal with bad reactions & breakouts (no one has the time actually). Last month I received the Relax Clay Mask, and it turned out to be my favorite clay mask ever! It smells and feels amazing, perfect for unwinding right before bedtime. It helps reduce scars, discolorations, redness, and inflammation, with the help of French pink clay, rosehip, lavender and vanilla bean.
Muddy Body Hair Mask
By far this is the best smelling product that I’ve ever had. The combination of coconut oil, avocado oil, camellia oil and marula oil, is essentially perfect. This Perfecting Hair Mask is nutrient and vitamin dense, that’s ultra-hydrating, supports hair growth, and repairs strands, at the same time. This worked so well on my ends and left my hair looking and smelling amazing.

Food/Kitchen
With my eco-friendly lifestyle challenge, ditching plastic came in naturally. This is a slow process, and I’m nowhere near where I want to be. But switching something so simple like plastic straws for a stainless steel one, was a great start. I bought a set of four reusable drinking straws (with cleaning brush) from Amazon, which, ironically enough, came in a plastic container (at least, I tried). Yes, I carry one straw with me at all times, which honestly takes some time to get used to. But I can’t live with the guilt of using one of the biggest pollutants to the environment.
Did you know? Plastic straws expose us to toxic chemicals, harm marine life, and take centuries to fully decompose. 500,000,000 straws are used in the United States alone every day!
That’s it for my current favorites! Tell me some of your current favorite products in the comments below. Is there anything that you would like for me to try? Any vegan and/or cruelty-free products?

Thank you?
I love that you touch on different categories in your favorites list!
Thank you✨
All of your products look ultra cool in your photos! I tried a bamboo toothbrush—not this one, I don’t think—but I didn’t like it. Not only was it hella expensive, but the bristles were too soft AND too short. Also, the handle did not feel substantial enough. I brush about 10 times a day and I need something that can withstand that kind of use. Perhaps it was the brand that was the issue…. I will try the one you’re featuring before I give it a complete thumbs down. Thanks for sharing.
Yes! Please give this brand a chance, so far I’ve had no problems using it ✨
I love that charcoal toothpaste! Most other charcoal ones I’ve tried are not minty and dry my mouth out but the Hello one is great!
This charcoal toothpaste sounds great! (: Definatly need to try it!
I want to try everything on here!! Particularly the toothbrush and charcoal toothpaste! You’ve definitely inspired me to try it out!!
Yaaaaay! Thank you, that’s my goal✨
These look great. I’ve never been able to afford a bamboo toothbrush, but they look nice. I do use the cheap plastic ones my dentist gives me free until the bristles are falling out.
I’ve been wanting to try out some of these products actually! Thanks for sharing
I really, really loved this post! My friend is really trying to stop using plastic straws, I had no idea there was another alternative. I love the photos and your explanations. Great job!
these favorites are great!!! I’ve been seeing a lot about charcoal toothpaste and now I kind of want to try it out myself.
These products look awesome!
