Vegan caramelized onion dip, a delicious appetizer or starter, very easy to prepare. It is ideal for special occasions or for everyday use. A delicious snack is a must for your weekend and this caramelized onion dip is easy to make and finger-licking good.
Notes:
- To keep this recipe gluten-free and or soy-free, revise the ingredients of your vegan mayo.
- If you don’t have maple syrup, you can sub for agave, and also for brown sugar but the onions might take a little bit longer to caramelize.
- The 1/2 cup of vegan mayo can be substituted for 1/2 cup of silken tofu.
